Science-cum-Art exhibition organized recently at Carmel Convent Sr.Sec.School, Ratanpur, was a fine manifestation of grandeur and sublime efforts. Dr.Neeraja Sharma, Professor and Head of the education department Barkatullah University  was the Chief guest on the occasion, while Most.Rev.Dr.Pascal Topno SJ, Bishop Emeritus and Rev. Jessy Maria, the Provincial Superior of CMC were the guests of honour. Sr.Carmela, the school principal accorded a warm welcome to the dignitaries and the function was inaugurated amidst great solemnity. The entire school clad in festive mood, paved way to the dignitaries and the commoners to witness the amalgamation of traditionalism with modernism. The dazzling look the venue wore unveiled Kerala's scenic beauty with lush green forests, mountains, rivers, dances and music providing a perfect backdrop to the mega event of the year. The exhibition epitomized hundreds of fun-filled, informative and zipping exhibits based on art and craft, science, language, social science, commerce, maths, computer science, physical education and moral science adding hue and fragrance to the show. The most thrilling corner of Carmel premises was the auditorium where rocking numbers by the students left the crowd enraptured. Other corners that drew a large crowd were the stalls providing a wide range of eatables and exciting games. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest appreciated and lauded the initiative taken by the school and the untiring efforts of every student and blessed them for a bright future.
